42ESU Extraoral Suction Unit

Handler’s 42ESU is an extraoral mobile suction system meant to compliment the HVE (High Volume Evacuation) intraoral devices being used during patient treatment. The 42ESU is used chairside to help capture airborne droplets and aerosols, minimizing exposure to harmful agents in the atmosphere. A replacement HEPA filter is also available, which is rated to filter 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 micron or larger and has an activated charcoal filter layer to reduce odors caused during patient treatment. 

Kit Contents: One 42ESU base unit, one hose assembly and one foot switch

• Three Stage Filtration: Stage 1 HEPA H11 disposable bag will filter 95% of particles down to 0.3 µm; Stage 2 HEPA H13 dual pass cartridge will filter 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 µm; Stage 3 activated charcoal filter will assist in eliminating odors
• High-power, variable speed vacuum motor rated from 120 CFM to 160 CFM
• 4.5” lightweight hood to capture aerosol
• Foam lined cabinet chamber for quiet operation
• Rigid, flexible, and adjustable 2 ½” diameter, 42” hose
• Hose is easily removable for cleaning and disinfection
• Castors with rubber non-skid wheel, two castors lock for stability during use
