Due to our recent growth, we have an immediate opening in our Jericho, NY corporate headquarters for a Accounts Payable Clerk.

We are looking for a detail oriented, number crunching problem solver to work in our Accounts Payable department! You will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of invoices and the ability to quickly resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities:
  • Match invoices to receiving documents.
  • Post invoices into the computer system.
  • Generate accounts payable and refund checks.
  • Research vendor statements, phone calls and discrepancies.
  • File paid and unpaid invoices and statements.
  • Organize and match returns paperwork.
  • Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures
  • Obtain proper information and /or data regarding invoice payment
  • Reconcile vendor statement against open payable
  • Vouch monthly credit card payments
  • Process check payments and credit card vendors
  • Assist with Accounts Payable department projects as needed
  • Process and reconcile prepaid vendors
  • Set up new vendors in the system
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements
A successful candidate has:
  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • 2 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferred
  • Detail orientated
  • Good with basic math
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize work
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to meet deliverables
  • Team player, can also work independently

Due to our recent growth, we have an immediate opening in our Jericho, NY corporate headquarters for a Cash Application Clerk.

The Cash Application Clerk will maximize incoming revenue across the company by partnering with customers and internal staff to research and collect payments.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare daily cash deposits
  • Obtain and mail invoice copies to customers, as requested
  • Process daily credit card deposits and checks by phone
  • Process check refunds
  • Waive finance charges through JDE
  • Update/deactivate credit card information on file
  • Approve and prepare finance plans
  • Apply cash to customer’s accounts
  • Reconcile customer’s accounts
  • File check stub and bank receipts
  • Research and process charge backs, returns and bad checks
  • Answers Accounts Receivable phone inquiries and follow up
  • Ability to cross train and support colleagues in their absence
  • Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts
  • Assists with related special projects, as required

Requirements A successful candidate has:
  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • 2 years of work experience in cash applications, account receivable or collections
  • MS Word and Excel proficiency required
  • Extra hours are required for month end and year end closing
  • The ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong analytical skills
